As soon as we find solitude we contemplate about our life. Thoughts come and thoughts go. We find ourself in a traffic of memories, wondering about our past. Bound by the present moment, the now or the many nows. We shape and visualize our future world. Possibilities, different scenario’s arise. We can move solidly in the empty space, making the invisible visible again.

The source of inspiration is found in the ancesters lane. Bound by the roots that we share. What do I find on, under or above our written pages?

L’eremita di stella (vertaling: de kluizenaar gemaakt van sterren) is inspired by sicilian trunfi, legends and written books, and will be performed by dancer/choreographer Sarah Prescimone.

De Kluis, niet meer dan een holle stenen ruimte van circa 8 bij 4 meter, weggemoffeld in de kelder. Wat als je een maker uitnodigt daar een week te bivakkeren? Wat kan er ontstaan? Of juist niet… Je ziet het op vrijdagmiddag, rond borreltijd, als de kluizenaar de deuren in de kelder opent.
